Position: I have the preference that finding a roommate that can share the living expenses is a better idea. Reason 1: First of all, it is obvious that living expenses represents the majority of all expenses, which could be an enormous burden for young people. In addition, the money, which is saved from renting a house with a roommate, could be better used as tuition for advanced degree, expenses for outbound tourism,or something more useful and beneficial.(通过和室友分担节省下的钱能用在更有用的方面,譬如作为学费或者出国旅游的开销等。) Reason 2: Second, the benefits brought by a roommate would go far beyond sharing the living expenses. Virtually, a roommate, with a wild range of knowledge and experience, could play a vital role in helping and guiding you in various kinds of fields, which is a precious treasure. Reason 3: Buying the new technology products less frequently cannot get to the root of the problem, since the expense for buying new techanology products cannot compete with that for renting a house. What's more, it is not always realistic for young people to shop for less expensive food and cooking at home.(减少购买新科技产品并不能解决问题,因为这一项支出并没有租房成本那么大,而且对于年轻人来说在家做饭也不一定总是那么现实。) |
